I Am a Victim of Consumer Targeting

It happened. I was in Wal-Mart. I was in the check out line. I spotted something out of the corner of my eye.

NEW Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Even smaller than regular Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Oh Heavenly Day.

I AM A VICTIM OF CONSUMER TARGETING.

I feel like a part of one of Jim Gaffigan's comedy acts...

"How much denial are we in when we're eating [mini-mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups]?"

"There so small they don't really count. They're more like [Reese's Peanut Butter Cup] vitamins..."

"I'll only have one or twelve."

The most ridiculous part about it is that I ate the whole bag.

THE WHOLE BAG.

And before noon. Yes. It's true.

Crap.

But the chocolate to peanut butter ratio is perfect! And they're already unwrapped so you don't risk tearing off the bottom of the cup or scathing the side of the chocolate!!! You just open the bag and, 'pop!'

I'm in big trouble.

And in total denial.

Mini-Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

*sigh*

I'm ashamed.
